Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups - Governing Board

A governing board gives dedication and direction to the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. The Board, consisting of five elected officers, the immediate past president, the state legislative chair and three persons from each of the nine districts, employs an executive director who is the primary lobbyist. The Board sets policy, reviews and monitors the annual budget.

The 2007 Governing Board Banquet and Award Ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Madison, WI on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.

Respected Board members, CWAG members, business partners, table sponsors, legislators, award winners and friends joined us in continuing our 30 year celebration of successful advocacy, education, resources and services to seniors throughout Wisconsin. This annual event featured a social reception, entertainment, dinner, awards presentation and a chance to meet the winners of the  President’s Award, Tommy G. Thompson Award for Service, Russ Feingold Award for Service, Outstanding Media of the Year, CWAG Member Group of the Year, Legal Services Advocate of the Year and the Al Hirsch Advocacy Award.

Please scroll to the end of this page for a sneek peak of photos of the 2007 award winners.
