The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups is pleased to enhance and expand its widely used prescription drug discount program that can save CWAG members money on their prescription needs.

Brand Name Savings: Through Extended Care Pharmacy, in Alberta, and Canadian Pharmacy Service, in Manitoba, we provide you with an easy-to-use program that offers both good service and the lowest overall prices on brand name medications from any Canadian pharmacy exporters. To assure ready availability of medications, both programs also offer safe importation through additional countries with our member’s consent.

Generic Drug Savings: Recognizing that generic prescription drugs are generally over priced in both Canada and the U.S., CWAGis also pleased to provide extraordinary savings on generic drugs though the MedSave Plus pharmacy program based in the Twin Cities.

Extended Care Pharmacy of Calgary, Alberta We are pleased to introduce our relationship with Extended Care Pharmacy of Calgary, Alberta. When our counterparts in the state of Minnesota reviewed Canadian pharmacies last year, this pharmacy group was said to have better quality service than many Minnesota pharmacies. While the state of Wisconsin recommends this pharmacy group on its website, our negotiated prices average about 14% less then those offered to the public with less expensive postage and handling costs. Members using Extended Care Pharmacy also will be able to use Extended Care’s “Cyber Clinic” which tracks drug interactions and provides professional pharmacist consultations by phone.  An increasing number of CWAG members currently are using ECP as their Canadian Pharmacy provider.  Keep in mind that if your order is $100 or more your shipping is FREE!

Canadian Pharmacy Service Canadian Pharmacy Service, an exclusive CWAG service of Universal Drug Store of Winnipeg, Manitoba, will provide the lowest cost prescription drugs that we are aware of in Canada. (As low or lower then that offered by programs we have previously negotiated.) In addition, Canadian Pharmacy Service will provide low cost mailing at $10 per U.S. order, toll free ordering, professional consultation, and more rapid delivery. In light of the attempts by pharmaceutical companies to shut off supply to Canadian Pharmacies that sell to Americans, both Extended Care Pharmacy and Canadian Pharmacy Service will be providing CWAG members the option to receive quality drugs from FDA approved facilities in Europe and other industrialized countries. However, this option will only be used with your expressed consent and written authorization.

MedSave Pharmacy of Minneapolis is our first contracted generic prescription drug program. Generic prescription drugs can save individuals a great deal over brand name prices and are generally overpriced in both Canada and the United States. CWAG has teamed up with MedSave Discount Pharmacy to provide exceptional prices on generic medication. They have created an additional discount exclusively for CWAG members called the MedSave Plus program. MedSave Discount Pharmacy is a Minnesota-based company with a goal to bring down the price of medications. Prescriptions can be ordered in person or over the phone and shipped for only $1 per pound. Members residing in the state of Wisconsin will generally receive their orders the next day and a day or two later elsewhere in the country.
